Christian Bale ran afoul of Chinese authorities today in a car chase almost worthy of The Dark Knight himself. The Oscar-winning actor, who is in China to promote his new film The Flowers of War, was trying to pay his respects to blind human rights activist Chen Guangcheng when the authorities decided to rough up the actor and the CNN crew traveling with him:
