My Review For Minecraft.

Image Detail

Minecraft is a massive creative sandbox game that allows players to create just about anything they can imagine anything from castles, to stupid cartoon characters, it also has a fun and challenging survival mode where you must build a Shelter and survive through the night against monsters known as mobs such a skeleton archers, giant spiders, zombies, and then nasty mobs, one known as a creeper which will blow up if you get to close and another called a enderman which If looked at will teleport to attack you. The game it self is fun and addictive trying to survive while collecting supplies but mods are needed for a sense of a complete game such as ones that have you helping NPC villages build there city. All and all I still enjoy the game for what it is and what its able to become thanks to mods I give Minecraft a
8 out of 10.

My review for Batman Arkham City

Image Detail

Got Batman Arkham City, for christmas and I'm loving it! The story is amazingly good with the many different characters as well as side missions and more and tougher riddler challenges, graphics are still some of the best I've seen in video games just the size alone of the game and area is much bigger the Arkham Asylum, sometimes the angle of the view can be weird at times but nothing to big to complain about. Haven't in countered any major glitches and for some reason I enjoy the challenge maps more then I did in the last one even though I don't seem to know what the difference If there is any difference. I have many MANY hours left to just finish the main story and probably weeks if not months to get all the achievements. have to give Batman Arkham city a
10 out of 10.

OverBlood 2 Super Replay Teaser Trailer

A little over a year ago Game Informer's Dan Ryckert had a bad idea. He wanted to take a game that completely stumped four editors when encountered in a Replay Roulette and turn it into a Super Replay. The survival-horror game for the Playstation 1 called OverBlood is an unassuming title that quickly grew into the highlight of our Super Replay series. Fans felt a sense of accomplishment after viewing all six episodes of the Super Replay, to the point that they created the most active and amazingly considerate Facebook group ever made. We are now recording the sequel to that Super Replay, a game that we imported from Englad called OverBlood 2. The new Super Replay will begin airing on 12/31/11, but we wanted to give the fans a taste of what's to come. There's still time to watch the original Super Replay, so please join in on the fun as we begin our mysterious adventure with OverBlood 2.

What The 3DS Circle Pad Add-On Shares With History's Silliest Portable Consoles

The 3DS Circle Pad Pro is coming to North America soon, but it seems to have a little too much in common with outrageous handhelds like Lynx and Game Gear.
To catch everyone up to speed, the Circle Pad Pro is an add-on to the 3DS that brings in a second analog circle pad and some extra trigger buttons. It's out in Japan now and will release in the U.S. on February 7 for $19.99. Right now, it's set to work with Resident Evil: Revelations and Metal Gear Solid: Snake Eater 3D with more titles on the way. The device requires one AAA battery that is reported to last up to 480 hours of game time. To keep things straight, we'll call this combined system and hardware the 3DS Pro. So now that we're all on the same page, let's look to the past for its inspiration.

Court Says Activision Can Go Ahead With Lawsuit Against EA

Image Detail

A Los Angeles superior court has ruled that Activision Blizzard can go ahead in its lawsuit against rival Electronic Arts relating to the departure of Jason West and Vince Zampella's from Activision-owned developer Infinity Ward.

Judge Elihu Berle ruled against an Electronic Arts' motion and a similar one filed by West and Zampella, saying that the jury trial against West and Zampella (and involving EA) can go forward on May 7, 2012. Activision claims that EA interfered with its employment contract with West and Zampella and "aided and abetted" the pair in what the company says is the "breach of [their] fiduciary duties."

West and Zampella were fired from Activision and its internal studio Infinity Ward (Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2) in 2010, with Activision citing breaches of contract and insubordination. The pair are, in turn, also suing Activision for withholding royalties among other things

American Horror Story: Completely New Story and Characters in Season 2

Farewell Harmon family, Murder House, Constance and Rubber Man. If you saw last night's American Horror Story season finale and wondered where there was left to go with this particular story, the answer is nowhere. Series creator Ryan Murphy spoke to the press today and revealed that Season 2 (and beyond) will deal with completely different characters in a different setting.

American Horror Story: Season Finale Review

Said Murphy, "The next season of the show will be a brand-new home or building to haunt," noting that you will never see any of the Season 1 characters again. Murphy also suggested the as the show continues, it might delve into other types of horror stories, including serial killers, rather than always being a traditional

Mega Man X Blasts Onto iPhone

Capcom's blue bomber invades Apple's platform for a bargain-friendly price.

If you want to relive the thrilling stages of the SNES smash hit Mega Man X on your iPhone or iPod Touch, head to the App Store today. For $4.99, players can take on Sigma and his robot army in this remake that features an on-screen visual control pad, graphics optimized for the Retina display, iOS-only cheat codes, and two different difficulty levels. As you can see in the screenshots below, the graphics are slightly more cartoonish than the original version, but it looks sharp nonetheless.

Mega Man X is compatible with Game Center as well, including 80 challenges, achievements, and leaderboards. Let's hope it fares better on iOS than the frustratingly difficult Mega Man II did.

Skyrim Conspiracy Theory: Insects Point Toward Armageddon

We've talked endlessly about how amazingly massive the world of The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim is, but do you need more evidence? Alright. Skyrim is so big that it has its own crackpot, end-of-days conspiracy theorists!

This whole hunt started innocently enough when a Reddit user noticed that the various insect-carrying jars that you can pick up in Skyrim have runes carved into their lids. In a series of investigations that my mind can barely comprehend, runes were translated, other hints were dug up, and the lore of Elder Scrolls was scoured, eventually leading one fan to create this map
:

AHA! It all makes sense now, right? No? As best I can understand, the runes point toward five towns that form a pentagram that itself points the way to a ritual that could wipe humans off the face of the planet. I don't completely follow the thread of logic behind this insanity, but feel free to read the thread on Reddit and try to for yourself.

The craziest part of all? Bethesda is just brilliant/insane enough that I could totally buy that they hid this incredibly obscure stuff in here assuming that the equally brilliant/insane fans would dig it up

First Wave Of Modern Warfare 3 DLC Coming In January

If you're looking for more Call of Duty: Modern Warfare action, fear not. Infinity Ward's Robert Bowling has revealed when the first wave of DLC for the game will be hitting. Here's hoping you're free at the end of January.

Bowling says the content will be arriving on Xbox Live on January 24. If past installments of Call of Duty's DLC are any indication, PS3 and PC players will have to sit this one out for a few weeks as Xbox 360 users bask in the limited-time exclusivity.

What exactly is coming? Activision's not saying, aside from a tease from Bowling that DLC for the game will include Spec Ops missions and a whole lot of variety. He made the statement on the Call of Duty Elite Roll Call show (requires registration), where he also spoke about how great it is having three studios (Infinity Ward, Raven, and Sledgehammer) working on the game. Congrats. Now give us some details, already

Someone's playing Star Wars: The Old Republic free for a year (one of these guys is me!)

In early November, I announced a challenge to IGN's burgeoning Star Wars: The Old Republic community: Help us make the The Old Republic wiki awesome and we'll make sure you play the game for free for a year.
Quenta stepped up to the challenge. Administering a whopping 3,300+ edits to the Star Wars wiki, Quenta poured in all the knowledge he gained from the public betas that ran on various weekends since November. Hands down, he demolished the challenge and hereby wins the grand prize--a Collector's Edition of Star Wars: The Old Republic plus a one-year subscription to the game. Quenta, dude--you don't have to pay to play this game for the next year.
Five other winners get regular copies of the game and six-month subscriptions. Thanks all for your help and I wholeheartedly hope to see your future edits in the recent changes log. This Star Wars: The Old Republic wiki is just getting started.

The Dark Knight Rises Official Trailer

The Dark Knight Rises Official Trailer HD

The spectacular new trailer for The Dark Knight Rises has officially hit the web!

Sony sued over terms of service update

According to court documents obtained by GameSpot, a Northern California man filed suit against Sony late last month on behalf of all customers who purchased a PlayStation 3 and signed up for PSN access before the September change to Sony's terms of service. The suit alleges that Sony engaged in unfair business practices by forcing consumers to either give up their right to file a class-action lawsuit or give up access to the online gaming network they effectively paid for when they purchased the hardware.

The suit says Sony buried the clause section describing the changes near the bottom of a 21-page form viewable through the PS3 and neglected to post an easily accessible version of the form online, even though it had done so with past user agreement updates. While the suit notes that Sony allowed an opt out from the class-action provision, the only way for consumers to do that was to contact the company in writing (no emails, phone calls, or online forms accepted) within 30 days.
Sony had not responded to a request for comment as of press time.

Grand Theft Auto 3 (iOS) Review

Grand Theft Auto 3 is an open-world crime saga that originally released on Playstation 2 in 2001. The story follows a silent protagonist who gets left bleeding after a bank robbery gone wrong. From there, he works his way up through the seedy underbelly of Liberty City in order to get his revenge. Grand Theft Auto 3's best known for its huge map, its tongue-in-cheek comedy, the ability to approach missions from multiple creative angles. The mobile Grand Theft Auto 3 is a tenth anniversary edition of the original and adds in the option to instantly restart a failed mission and a new set of touch controls to maneuver through the city. Alan Wake's American Nightmare Is Pure Pulp Horror

It's understandable that there's still some lingering disappointment that Remedy's new Alan Wake game isn't a fully-fledged sequel, but Alan Wake's American Nightmare is more than DLC. As a standalone spin-off, it's a new, short-form reinterpretation of the Alan Wake formula rather than an add-on for the existing game. Set inside an episode of the Twilight Zone-alike in-game TV show Night Springs, it's a five-hour action thriller that takes its inspiration from classic horror, science fiction, urban legends and pulp Americana. Think of it as the short story to the original Alan Wake's novel.

PlayStation 3 Skyrim Issues

The PlayStation 3 version of Skyrim has been, anecdotally, afflicted with more and greater Bugs and Glitches than other versions. PlayStation 3-specific issues may stem from the ever-increasing size of the game's save file. Users report that as the size of the game's save file increases, problems with framerate worsen.
Potential issues with the PlayStation 3 version of Skyrim were first reported by IGN on November 18, 2011.

The Dawn of Wii U

Nintendo's success with Wii was bound to fuel speculation and interest in its next console. Whether wondering about a new controller or how Nintendo would embrace HD, the entire industry seemed fixated on the Wii's successor. As rumors and leaks emerged earlier this year, that fixation reached a fever pitch. Whatever Nintendo revealed at E3 2011 would have to be tremendous to live up to the hype.

Wii's lack of software helped create a spotlight on anything related to Wii U. With its current home console effectively out of the picture, the press started searching for clues to what was coming next. Those details

Stacking Coming Soon To PC

Double Fine has chosen an odd way to announce that Stacking is coming soon to PC, but the message has been delivered so there is no reason to complain.
Rather than sending out a boring press release, or posting a simple tweet, Tim Schafer and Lee Petty chose to act out the announcement with stacking dolls as part of their acceptance video for receiving the Best Downloadable Game award from G4's X-Play. As is typical with just about everything Double Fine does, it's pretty hilarious.
[Update] Double Fine was nice enough to send us some additional details about the PC versions of Stacking. The game will be $14.99, will include the Lost Hobo King DLC, and will be available in the Spring.

Why Zelda Endures

The Legend of Zelda franchise has long been a gaming institution. For 25 years the series has continued to produce quality releases, laying the groundwork for countless other series and inspiring the imaginations of gamers worldwide. The latest release, The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword, is no exception. The title, which IGN's own Rich George awarded that coveted perfect 10, is already the fastest-selling Zelda game in the history of the franchise. Not too shabby for a series that's getting up there in years.

Bluffer's Guide to Star Wars Games

Everything you ever wanted to know about Star Wars games is in one handy video, presented by Danny O'Dwyer

Star Wars Galaxies Expires

Star Wars Galaxies is no more. After eight years, the Star Wars MMO has been permanently discontinued after losing the Star Wars license. The closure was announced back in June before officially taking effect last night.

Star Wars Galaxies first launched in 2003. It was given a major redesign in 2005 and received several updates throughout 2006. In 2008, LucasArts expected the game to be able to co-exist with Star Wars: The Old Republic, which will finally launch this month.

In a statement on the game's official site, Sony Online Entertainment said the following: "On behalf of the Star Wars Galaxies team, thank you. We have truly enjoyed getting to know you - our dedicated players - over the years. From in-game events to Fan Faires, we appreciate your continued loyalty and support. It would not have been possible without you."

Skyward Sword vs. Ocarina of Time

So i have been hearing alot about how Skward Sword is better then Ocarina of Time. Well i dont know how anyone dare say that Ocarina of Time is amazing i personaly think it changed video games forever.

Skyward Sword is the newest Legend of Zelda game and i will say it uses the Wii motion plus very well and lets you do things that wouldn't be possible without it, now have just said that i dont think it plays at the level of  Ocarina of Time and this is why Ocarina is gives hyrule a dark look and feel wear Skyward is a very bright happy cartoony look. Ocarina of time had an amazing story that made you feel like you were in that world. i could go on and on about how much Ocarina of Time is better but i will leave with this, why does Nintendo think us gamers are so stupid to the point that every five minutes your little helper Fi reexplains everything and so i dont feel like im playing i feel like i have some annoying person telling you what to do! i like it when it leaves all the information for me to find not just give it to me step by step. i would like to see you guys opions on this topic.

Resident Evil 2

So recently i have been playing Resident Eivil 2, and have noticed that the old Resident Evil games are way more fun with the tight spaces, dark creep suranding, as well as blindly running down a hallway not knowing who or what is going to be at the ather end. I have played the second game twice and will soon be playing it till it is completted which should be 4 play throughs and i didnt even get past the second chapter of Resident Evil 5. Capcom needs to go back to where it started and bring back that awesome survial horror/puzzel game we all love.
