GameInformer's Review of Dragon Age: Inquisition

Dragon Age: Inquisition’s predecessors – Dragon Age: Origins and Dragon Age II – represent two separate visions of the franchise. The first is a sprawling tribute to old-school PC RPGs, while the second is a compact and action-oriented experience tailored to consoles. Though fans may wonder which of those entries Inquisition most resembles, the answer is ultimately irrelevant; Inquisition can’t be reduced to a simple meeting point between two extremes. Instead of trying to reconcile every difference, BioWare strides into new territory for an expansive and unforgettable journey.

Walmart Changes Price Match Policy

Walmart has changed their price-matching policy following a series of fraudulent purchases made earlier this week.

Taking advantage of Amazon's ability to create third-party vendor pages for items, customers turned in printed screenshots of unofficial PlayStation 4 listings priced at just $90, passing them off as official to get the console at less than a quarter of its market price. However, Walmart's new price-matching rules should prevent others from taking advantage of of the retail giant:

"(W)e’ve updated our policy to clarify that we will match prices from Walmart.com and 30 major online retailers, but we won’t honor prices from marketplace vendors, third-party sellers, auction sites or sites requiring memberships."

Some of the online retailers who made the cut include Amazon, Best Buy, Kmart, Target and Toys-R-Us.

Find the full list of vendors in Walmart's updated online price match policy.

Director Ridley Scott talks Prometheus 2

For a movie that's less than a year-and-a-half away, the progress on Prometheus 2 has been kept pretty hush-hush. That is, until now -- as director Ridley Scott has started teasing the Alien prequel/sequel, and promises a "fresh" monster for the film.

While promoting his upcoming film -- Exodus: Gods and Kings -- Scott spoke to The Australian (via Dark Horizons) about Prometheus 2, touting that it will introduce a "fresh" monster and is "getting away from gods and dragons and s--t. If I see one more dragon I’m going to shoot myself. Stop the dragons."Wait, dragons?! Scott is talking about the monster created by H.R. Giger for the original film, which he describes as the "definitive dragon," saying, "The alien's real which is why it's probably one of the scariest monsters in film history."

Scott goes on to confirm that the Prometheus sequel will veer away from the inclusion of Xenomorphs -- the iconic, titular alien from the original series -- which were teased at the end of Prometheus. "With Prometheus 2 what I'm trying to do is reintroduce a fresher form of alien in the third act," says Scott

And finally, Scott confirms that Blade Runner 2 is still in the works, saying, "It's written (and) it's really good." Good enough for us!

Prometheus 2 -- starring Noomi Rapace and Michael Fassbender -- is slated for a March 4, 2016 release.

While speaking with The Telegraph, Nintendo designer Shigeru Miyamoto expressed his feelings on the idea of making games into guided cinematic experiences.

According to Miyamoto, it's the players, not designers, that need to be the director of their own experiences.

“These younger game creators, they want to be recognized,” he said. “They want to tell stories that will touch people’s hearts. And while I understand that desire,
