The trailer for Star Wars: The Force Awakens gave us our first look at several new characters, but we still didn't know what any of these newcomers were named - until now.
EW has now revealed the names of all of the characters seen in the trailer - or at least their partial names.
The droid is BB-8.

Oscar Isaac is playing Poe Dameron.

Daisy Ridley is playing Rey.

The mysterious figure holding the red lightsaber is Kylo Ren.
??? as Kylo Ren.
In addition, EW (which made their reveals via fun, retro Star Wars trading card visuals) also clarified that what we assumed were Stormtroopers, X-Wing fighters and the Millennium Falcon in the trailer were just that - as in, those same names are being used for these soldiers and vehicles, without any changes/updates from the original trilogy.
The "trading card" for Kylo Ren also specifically reads "Kylo Ren ignites his lightsaber," at least clearing up the gender of the character, if not who plays Kylo. Meanwhile, it's hard not to notice the lack of a last name listed for Rey or Finn. Does that mean neither of them has a last name or it's simply being kept from us for the time being?Keep in mind, there are a ton of new Star Wars actors not seen in the trailer still (though one of the men could of course by Kylo), including Lupita Nyong’o, Gwendoline Christie, Adam Driver, Domhnall Gleeson and Max von Sydow, plus returning Star Wars veterans Mark Hamill, Harrison Ford, Carrie Fisher, Anthony Daniels, Peter Mayhew, Kenny Baker and Warwick Davis
