Fox has dated a handful of its upcoming films, including the Assassin's Creed movie, Fantastic Four 2, and the next entry in the Planet of the Apes franchise.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, Justin Kurzel's Assassin's Creed: The Movie, which stars Michael Fassbender, will hit theaters December 21, 2016.
The third and currently untitled Planet of the Apes movie has been pushed from July 29, 2016, to July 14, 2017. Meanwhile, Fantastic Four 2 has moved up a month from July 14, 2017, to June 2, 2017.
Fox also set release dates for The Greatest Showman on Earth, which stars Hugh Jackman as P.T. Barnum; Mike & Dave Need a Wedding, a comedy written by Andrew J. Cohen and Brenden O'Brien; and the romantic drama The Mountain Between Us, starring Charlie Hunnam (Sons of Anarchy) and Rosamund Pike (Gone Girl). The films are slated for December 25, 2016, July, 29 2016, and February 10, 2017, respectively.
