IS THE NEW 3DS HITTING NORTH AMERICA NEXT MONTH?

An advertising poster for the New 3DS XL has appeared, and it shows February 13 as the console's date of availability in North America.

The poster is neither a confirmation nor a denial of rumors that Nintendo's updated version of its popular 3DS hardware will be arriving on US shores in just a month, but if it is true, the date will most certainly be confirmed tomorrow during the first Nintendo Direct of 2015.



That Direct, by the way, is scheduled for 9 am EST/6 am PST, so depending on where you live, you might want to wake up early or call into work late.

Interestingly, the poster shows only the New 3DSXL, and not both versions of the device, which are currently available in Japan. Does this mean there is another poster out there to introduce gamers to the New 3DS, or is the missing device a sign that North America might only get one version?
