Former DICE Devs Form Fugitive Games And Launch Kickstarter For Survival Sim Game
The talent behind games like Battlefield, Medal of Honor, and Lost Planet has formed a new studio, Fugitive Games.
Former DICE developers Ben Jones and Marc Janas teamed up with Spark Unlimited devs Alden Fillion and Roy Orr on an open-world, space survival simulation game titled Into The Stars.
Inspired by games like FTL and Out There, Into The Stars is said to be a "modern version" of The Oregon Trail. Players will assume the role of Captain as they outfit a ship, choose a crew, and survive alien forces in their quest to a find a "new home for humanity." The game will feature an original score from Mass Effect and Call of Duty composer Jack Wall.
