Sims 4 Update Adds Athletic And Business Career Path
EA released an update for The Sims 4 today that adds four new career paths for your Sims to pursue.
Sims can now aim to become either an Angel Investor or a Business Tycoon in the Business track, or a Hall of Famer or Mr./Ms. Solar System in the Athletic track.
Each career path also comes with specific outfits that change with each promotion and unlock unique objects and interactions. Promotions will also unlock four new career-reward rooms available in Build Mode.
New "chance cards" have also been added to the game. When used, chance cards have the ability to either put a Sim's career on the fast track or keep them in one place. The update also comes a Holiday Celebration Pack filled with holiday-themed objects, décor and clothing. Players can redeem The Holiday Celebration Pack for free in-game or through Origin.
The Sims 4 Careers update is now available for at no cost.
The last The Sims 4 update was released back in November and added pools, which were missing at the game's launch.

Amazon's console could stream "top-tier" PC games at 30fps
Amazon's rumored console could stream full PC titles, sources speaking with TechCrunch said today. Such functionality would conceivably allow the system to compete directly with Xbox and PlayStation consoles, as well as PC download hubs like Origin and Steam.
Games available for streaming are described as "top-tier," though specific titles were not mentioned. They will be streamed, according to the report, using Amazon's services and will run at 30fps. Amazon already has an extensive network of high-capacity servers across the country, which are currently used to power its various digital content and cloud-based initiatives.
The site's sources also said Amazon's rumored console will have a form factor similar to

Black Ops II Getting Dedicated PC Servers
The lack of ranked dedicated servers has been sore spot for Call of Duty PC players for the last few iterations of the franchise, but it looks like that may be changing for Black Ops II.
Treyarch’s director of technology recently tweeted, "Confirmed: Ranked Dedicated Servers for #BlackOps2." Modern Warfare 3 had dedicated servers, but they were unranked. This should be good news for PC fans of Call of Duty.

Details emerge on Limbo dev's next project
Copenhagen-based developer Playdead, creator of 2010's critically acclaimed side-scroller Limbo, has begun work on its next game, tentatively titled Project 2.

According to the Danish Film Institute's website (which can be viewed in English), Playdead's next title is a puzzle platformer adventure for the PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, PC, and Mac.
Listed as having a budget of £1 million ($1.55 million), the game will follow the adventures of a boy as he does battle with evil forces through "puzzles and changing scenarios." The game will be in colour and will be set in a 3D environment; however, according to the site, the gameplay will take place in 2D.
In November
last year, Playdead revealed that Limbo crossed the one million units sold mark, across the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and PC.
Limbo puts players in the shoes of a small child who must find his way through a black-and-white world, filled with puzzles and dangerous, often deadly, obstacles. The game won critical acclaim upon release, which was followed by a small avalanche of award nominations that yielded multiple Interactive Achievement Awards and a Game Developers Choice Award.
