We’re getting closer to being able to take screenshots on our retail Xbox One consoles. The oft-requested (and top priority) feature for Microsoft is now running on developer kits.
Over the weekend, head of Xbox Phil Spencer shared the image above on Twitter. “Nice to finally be doing this on my Xbox One dev kit,” he writes.
Note that the image also indicates a unified set of options for video capture and screenshots. It doesn't quite have the sting of an opponent hearing “Xbox, record that” over Xbox Live after you deliver a killing blow, though.
